Dalton Helix for Arctic Cat ACT Drive Series

ACT DRIVE "C SERIES” HELIX

ACT Drive Models. 2005 direct bolt-in using stock 05 adjustable cover, or 06-2011 with the use of 2005 OEM cover or a Dalton cover. If you have a 2006-2011 you need one of the covers to use this helix. Dalton helixes with “C” designation are for all 2005-2008 ACT models, and for 09 and newer 4-stroke models or shuttle reverse button models. This model is NOT for 2009+ 2-stroke models that have the Engine run backwards. 2-stroke models with electronic Engine reverse need the “CR” designation.

Note: This is a tubular type helix for pre- 2006 ACT Drive models. When used on a later (2006-2011) version ACT diamond drive secondary it requires the use of the DHC-100 cover (sold separately), or the cap and assembly parts from a 2005 Arctic Cat model.

These models require a notch in the ramp for when the engine turns backwards for reverse.

Note: These are the earlier style adjustable tubular type helix models that require a DHC-100 cover kit (sold separately), or a 05' type Arctic adjustable cover and hardware to use on the newer sleds that came with a cast one piece helix.

If you want a one piece design like your stock helix order “ECR” model.

All models with the notch for electronic reverse system are designated "CR" followed by the angle. If it is a progressive type cut it would be designated by the suffix "P" after the part number.

CR  electronic reverse notched version helixes are NOT for use with aftermarket torsional springs or conversion cap kits! The torsional force will not allow the reverse to engage the notch properly and obvious damage will occur.
