Update to my first impression

"Have ridden over 500km with these now from -7 to +21 degrees and everything in between. Sun, some rain, lots of spring wind and cold mornings. These are now a 5/5 to me. Very precise fit after adjusted and absolutely great to me. I will mention some of the inner finish of the right boot mid-foot is flattening slightly as my rear brake use is maybe more than most and I rub against my bike. I compensated by using a boot toe protector to cover that part of the boot to protect it from wearing prematurely."

Amazingly Comfortable and Good Protection

"I looked at some $800 boots and could not justify that much expense. Tried these on in store after looking at features, worried about European sizing. I am 10. 5 wide and tried the 45 (size 11) from SiDi and were perfect. A little snug on outer top of foot, but microadjustment should clear that up on the lower strap. Have not ridden in them yet, but I wanted something could walk in stores with and into some sight-seeing small walks and these seem to be the ones. Nice protection features although not most for ankle impact or shin impact protection, but that was the compromise of $500 vs $800 boots and walkable. I have seen people worried the small velcro at top may not last - time will tell."
