"This is the 2nd Shinko 705 rear for my 2001 BMW R1150RT. LoL I got 20,000kms from the 1st rear, which isn't at all shabby for a +600lb bike. The front, as expected still has plenty of tread. These 705's are one of the best deals for radial tires out there. I've ridden it in all kinds of West Coast weather, on the slab, gravel, and at somewhat illegal speeds. ;-) No complaints, whatsoever."

"Mounted the tire on a 2000 Moto Guzzi California 1100 so the tire would not be typical for this bike. None the less, I quite like the tire. So far it has exhibited a good grip to the road, corners nicely and has exceptional tread. Do not know yet how well it will wear."

"I have used shinko 705 tyres on many bikes from vstrom 650 to klr650 and my wifes bmwf650 gs . in my humble opinion these are the best value for the dollar . I average 12km to the rear and over 20 on the front but since I'm getting older I replace both at the same time around 14km"
