Excellent tire. Can get over 5000km on pavement, and highway. Feels confident offroad, and doesn't seem to lack any pavement grip for being an aggressive looking dirt tire. This is my second one now. 2018 Suzuki Dr650

D606 Rear - The Optimal Balance of Traction and Longevity

In my experience, the D606 has easily outlasted any other rear DOT knobby that I've used in a 60% dirt / 40% road application. There are trade-offs (obviously) as the harder compound will provide significantly less grip on greasy or grassy terrain.

Ive used the Dunlop D606 on my CRF300L and KTM 500EXCF for years now and they are the the perfect Dual Sport tire for off-road traction and road readability!

So far, a huge improvement over the stock tires for off road. Run fine on the pavement as well. Very satisfied. Only reason not 5 Stars is I can’t comment on longevity yet.

Great traction on rear with

Great traction on rear with loose rock, mud and ruts on fire roads. Tough sidewalls hold up to sharp rocks well and help protect rim. Road noise isn’t much different than terrible traction stock IRC’s on Crf300l rally. Huge upgrade to bike when combined with a Pirelli MT21 on front.
